Winter Adventures in the Eastern Pyrenees
During the winter season Pyrenees Mountain Adventure offers snowshoe walks. Snowshoeing is great fun and requires no special skills. Anyone that can walk can snowshoe! Have fun in the snow without the need for expensive equipment and ski passes. We can leave the crowds and the ski developments behind and search out the quieter corners of the winter mountain landscape.
Although there are no mountain flowers, there are still the different types of conifers for colour. Also, the snow cover enables us to see and identify the tracks of some of the animals that live in the upland environment. I can help you to learn to identify the tracks of mountain hares, squirrels, isard, deer, fox and wild boar for example.
